My Birthday -- Party Design Dining Table by Me!

The best feeling in the world is when I wake up and getting too many notifications on your phone because IT'S MY BIRTHDAY! 

Yeaaaaayyyy! 

Growing old and turning into a new age might be something that states we are not a kid anymore,

 but hey. 

Celebrating Birthday is always fun! 

The midnight surprises, gifts, cakes, warm greetings from friends and family all over the world (oh yeaaah)... 

Remembering how special you are. 

My birthday starts earlier one day before, when my friends showed up to my house...

It was so unpredictable because it was not my birthday yet, and sure I didn't expect anything to happen! But here they areeee.... 

showing up, giving me a funny surprise. Apparently my two friends also joining in giving this cake and they just can't come because they're out of town, so they are still in this photo, but just written their names in carton. Lol

 and .... they gave me this adorable cake! 

Pale Pink Flowers & Tiffany Blue Cake, I'm falling in love since the first time!

This cake is sooo me. 

I really love the touch of pastel colors on the cake and it's just so beautiful.

See the red eggs? ;) My mom made it for me, it's Chinese tradition to eat red eggs and noodle in every birthday. 

Hard boiled Egg represents Life and Birth and Red means Happiness & Fortune.

While Noodle represents the hope of long life, wishing that one may live so long that one's hair turns white.

I'm receiving such a beautiful love from family & friends.

A great start for a birthday this year.

Let's move on to the PARTY!

I always love Party Designer, because I am a Degree in Graphic Designer ;) Spent 4 years of designing in Malaysia and I love birthday! 

For me, every birthday is a dream come true. Where everyone makes you feel special, they put effort to show you how much they care and to give you surprises. 

And every birthday should be remembered really well in mind, because good memories don't just happen. ;)

When I first knew about Party Designer is exist as a Job, I really feel excited because I think I've been doing it my whole life. Since I was in Junior High School, I always care about what gift to give, what kind of unique and crazy surprises idea to do to my friends... And I just love to see the happy expression in their faces. 

Party Design is creating themes that reflects you. Celebrating a birthday might be usual, but when you put color, design and theme on it... You gonna remember it forever! <3 

So I decided to do a very simple dining table design for my birthday. 

Yes, I love floral pattern, pink, and the tiffany blue ribbon to match the cake! Isn't it beautiful? ;) 

The design is elegant, pinkish and got a little bit vintage ornament on the edges of the frame and in the middle. Princess-y as well.

....that takes me 10 minutes to turn it off. The magic candles kept on fire!!! >< Zzz

They laughed so hard at this part to see my confused and hopeless face. Hahahah. The restaurant became very smoky because of this --' 

THE FOOD, Oh yeaaah.

Fish with 2 Flavors

One is sweet and sour, one is fried crispy! I personally like the sweet and sour one... It's very soft and it's more tasty!

Chicken with Spicy Sauce

Which is not spicy at all. Hahahah. It's very delicious also. <3 The meat is soft and the thick sauce makes it perfect.

Birthday Noodle

It has seafood on it, which is my favorite, prawn and squid. Also have the quail eggs...

This one taste amaaaazing.

Amazing taste as well. ;) But not too spicy for me!

I love every "wish all the best for you" "wish your dreams come true" "success for you" and "hope you find your soulmate" and I just need to say Amen to all of it. ;) 

I also love long and meaningful prayers from best friends. They knew me so much and pray the exact things I want to do in my life. 

So sweet that people actually pray for me.

This birthday makes me realise how blessed and special I am. And it's all because of you guys!!! 

Thanks for everything in my birthday from the deepest of my heart! 

I feel super happy, grateful and beloved.

Le Quartier Restaurant Jakarta - Review

Hello!! Today's post is about a restaurant in Jakarta. 

If you're a fan of western food, go to Le Quartier Restaurant.

It is located in Senopati area where is the heaven for all good places to eat. 

You only need to walk a bit and you find another different restaurants/cafe/mini stall with unique concepts. 

First impression of this restaurant, Classy, Modern and Artistic. Yes, from the name "Le Quartier" it sounds European, super serious and high-class. 

Thumbs up for the grafitti art is very eye-catching and it made the place not "too serious". 

Anyway, attractive decoration and the interior is keeping the ambience classy and comfy.

I really love the classy interior <3 

They are like a fine dining, and also has open bar, but yet the place is still casual for hanging out. 

The other parts of the restaurant. Yes, this restaurant is big and it fits many people in here. 

While I was coming here, it was still early, around 10-11 AM. So it was not crowded at all. 

But some tables are already reserved. 

Closer look to the graffiti. 

Okay let's place an order! It's a bit pricey here, so it will be perfect if you bring your loved one for special occasion.

I chose Egg Bennedict because I was craving for it on the first day I arrived in Jakarta. And they gave the wholegrain bread as well. 

The blue napkins just match the place's decoration, don't you think?

It's just super photogenic. >< 

The presentation of the food is very beautiful. Thumbs up! 

Every bite is a combination of soft bun, ham, spinach and hollandaise sauce. 

Good, but not really tasty.

But I am a fan of Eggs Bennedict so it's just fine for me :) 

it's just perfect to start my day with this breakfast.

A basket of wholegrain bread, 

which is pretty hard to chew and bitter, 

but it's still okay to eat if you are hungry :)
